Email Recording Configuration
When you add or edit an email recording configuration, you will be able to configure various parameters as described on this page.
Act! Account Settings
Please provide Act! username and password which Link2Mail will connect to your Act! database as when recording emails to history for this email account.
You can click [Test Connection] button to verify that it is connected successfully.
Email Account Settings
Please provide email account settings to which Link2Mail will scan emails from.
Some email servers such as Office 365 or Gmail will require a special authentication method. For these servers, please input email address and click [Authorize] button and follow the steps to authorize Link2Mail to access your email account.
For other email servers, select IMAP and input server details as given by your email provider.
You can click [Test Connection] button to verify that it is connected successfully.
Email to History Recording
Record Incoming
Record incoming emails from the Inbox folder.
Record Outgoing
Record outgoing emails from the Sent folder.
Details to Record
Select email parts to be included in the recorded history.
You may wish to omit certain details such as attachment
to conserve database space usage.
Incoming History Type
Select history type to set when recording incoming emails
into Act! history.
Outgoing History Type
Select history type to set when recording outgoing emails
into Act! history.
